Dacia Tyres in Park Royal

The right tyre size for a Dacia depends on the model, the generation and the wheels fitted. A current Sandero takes 185/65 R15 or 195/55 R16, but the Sandero Stepway and Jogger take 205/60 R16, and the current Duster uses four sizes from 16 to 18 inches. Dacia tyre sizes by model

Sizes for 13 Dacia models and generations, cross-checked against tyre-maker and retailer fitment listings. One model often lists several sizes, one per wheel option. Fitment listings are a guide: the size on your own tyres, or on the placard in the door frame, is the one to match.

Dacia models at a glance

• Sandero II: The 2012 to 2020 Sandero uses 185/65 R15 on most versions, with 195/55 R16 or 205/55 R16 on some 16-inch versions.
• Sandero III: The Sandero from 2021 uses 185/65 R15 on the Essential and 195/55 R16 on the Expression and Journey.
• Sandero Stepway II: The 2013 to 2020 Sandero Stepway uses 205/55 R16 on 16-inch wheels or 185/65 R15 on 15-inch wheels.
• Sandero Stepway III: The Sandero Stepway from 2021 uses 205/60 R16, though Dacia UK's spec page lists 195/55 R16 for the Essential, so check the sidewall on that grade.
• Duster I: The 2012 to 2017 Duster uses 215/65 R16 on both 2WD and 4x4 versions.
• Duster II: The 2018 to 2024 Duster uses 215/65 R16 or 215/60 R17 on both 2WD and 4x4 versions.
• Duster III: The Duster from 2024 uses 215/70 R16 on entry versions, 215/65 R17 on the Expression, 215/60 R18 on the Journey and Extreme, and 225/55 R18 on the hybrid 150 4x4.
• Bigster: The Bigster from 2025 uses 215/65 R17, 215/60 R18 or 205/55 R19 on 2WD versions and 225/55 R18 102H XL 3PMSF tyres on the hybrid 150 4x4.
• Jogger: The Jogger from 2022 uses 205/60 R16 on every current UK grade, including the hybrid.
• Spring: The Spring electric city car uses 165/65 R15 on the Expression and Extreme and 165/70 R14 on the Spring Cargo, all on steel wheels.
• Logan MCV II: The 2013 to 2020 Logan MCV estate uses 185/65 R15 on most versions, with 195/55 R16 or 205/55 R16 on some 16-inch versions.
• Dokker: The 2012 to 2021 Dokker and Dokker Van use 185/65 R15 on most versions.
• Lodgy: The Lodgy seven-seater from 2012 uses 185/65 R15 on most versions.

Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger: check the exact model

The Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger look related, but they do not share a tyre size. The current Sandero (2021 onwards) uses 185/65 R15 88H on the Essential's 15-inch steel wheels and 195/55 R16 87H on the Expression and Journey. The current Sandero Stepway uses 205/60 R16 92H, and so does every current Jogger grade, including the hybrid 155. The late-2025 facelift did not change these sizes.

One exception to watch: the Dacia UK online spec page lists 195/55 R16 87H for the Sandero Stepway Essential, while the brochure gives 205/60 R16 for every grade. On a Stepway Essential, read the size from a tyre on the car before ordering.

On the older Sandero, Logan MCV and Sandero Stepway (2012 to 2020), the 16-inch sizes (195/55 R16 or 205/55 R16) are matched to different engines by different tyre databases, so the engine alone will not tell you which one you have. Check the sidewall or the door-pillar label.

Duster and Bigster: size depends on grade and drivetrain

The current Duster (2024 onwards) uses 215/65 R17 on the Expression and 215/60 R18 on the Journey and Extreme. Entry versions on 16-inch wheels use 215/70 R16, and the hybrid 150 4x4 uses 225/55 R18. The 2018 to 2024 Duster uses 215/65 R16 98H or 215/60 R17 96H, and the 2012 to 2017 Duster uses 215/65 R16.

On the Bigster (2025 onwards), the tyres depend on the drivetrain as well as the wheel size. Two-wheel-drive cars use 215/65 R17 on the Expression, 215/60 R18 on the Extreme and 205/55 R19 on the Journey hybrid 155. The hybrid 150 4x4 leaves the factory on 225/55 R18 102H XL tyres marked 3PMSF (the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol). If you want to keep that marking and the XL load rating on a 4x4, tell us when you book.

Spring EV, TPMS and puncture kits

The Dacia Spring electric city car runs on steel wheels on every version, with 165/65 R15 tyres on the Expression and Extreme and 165/70 R14 on the Spring Cargo. These narrow sizes are less common than most car tyres, so book ahead or call us on 020 3886 2355 to check we can get your size.

Dacia UK brochures list tyre pressure detection as standard on every grade of the current Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, Duster, Bigster and Spring. If a TPMS warning stays on after new tyres, or a sensor has failed, we can replace it.

The same brochures list a tyre inflation kit as standard, with a spare wheel as an extra-cost option on most models. The spare is not offered on the Jogger LPG and hybrid or the Duster Eco-G 120, and none is listed for the Spring. Only the Bigster hybrid 150 4x4 has a full-size spare as standard. So after a puncture your Dacia may have no spare. If you have used the sealant, tell us before we take the tyre off.

What to check when buying, and alignment

Match the load and speed index as well as the size. The index follows the size on the sidewall, for example 92H on a Jogger's 205/60 R16 or 102H XL on a Bigster 4x4's 225/55 R18. Some tyre databases list extra sizes for Dacias that the manufacturer does not, so the tyres on your car and the door-pillar label are what to go by.

Before new tyres go on, look at the wear on the old ones. If one edge has worn faster than the rest, or the steering pulls or sits off-centre, have the alignment checked, or the new tyres will wear the same way. We use Hunter equipment for four-wheel alignment, from £50. If the steering wheel vibrates at speed, the wheels may need balancing, which we also do on its own.
