Fiat Tyres in Park Royal

The right tyre for a Fiat depends on the model, the generation and the wheels fitted. A 2007 to 2024 Fiat 500 can be on 175/65 R14, 185/55 R15 or 195/45 R16. The size on your car is printed on the tyre sidewall and on the label in the driver's door frame. Find your model below, then book at our Park Royal garage in NW10. Fiat tyre sizes by model

Sizes for 17 Fiat models and generations, cross-checked against tyre-maker and retailer fitment listings. One model often lists several sizes, one per wheel option. Fitment listings are a guide: the size on your own tyres, or on the placard in the door frame, is the one to match.

Fiat models at a glance

• 500: The 2007 to 2024 Fiat 500 and 500C use 175/65 R14, 185/55 R15 or 195/45 R16, including the 1.0 Mild Hybrid.
• 500e: The electric 500 from 2020 uses 185/65 R15, 195/55 R16 or 205/45 R17, and the smaller-battery 95 hp car is listed on the 15-inch size only.
• 500L: The 2012 to 2022 500L uses 205/55 R16 or 225/45 R17 on all versions, with 195/65 R15 on lower-output engines only.
• 500X: The 2015 to 2024 500X uses sizes from 215/60 R16 to 225/45 R18, and some versions have 19-inch wheels, including a 225/40 R19 XL run-flat.
• 600: The Fiat 600 Hybrid and electric 600e from 2023 use 215/65 R16, 215/60 R17 or 215/55 R18.
• Panda: The 2012 to 2024 two-wheel-drive Panda mostly uses 175/65 R14 or 185/55 R15, with 175/65 R15, 185/65 R15 or 195/45 R16 on some versions.
• Panda 4x4 / Panda Cross: The Panda 4x4 uses 175/65 R15, with 175/65 R14 on the 0.9 TwinAir, and the Panda Cross uses 185/65 R15.
• Grande Panda: The Grande Panda from 2025 uses 205/60 R16 or 205/55 R17 on the 1.2 Hybrid and 205/55 R16 or 205/50 R17 on the electric version.
• Punto: The 2012 to 2018 Punto uses 185/65 R15 or 195/55 R16, with 205/45 R17 on alloys (not the lowest-output 1.2 67 and 1.4 87 hp) and 175/65 R15 on some entry versions.
• Tipo: The Tipo from 2016 uses 195/65 R15, 205/55 R16, 225/45 R17 or 225/40 R18, with the 15-inch size on entry versions only.
• Tipo Cross: The Tipo Cross from 2021 uses 215/60 R16 or 215/55 R17 on every version, including the 1.5 Hybrid.
• Ducato: The Ducato from 2014, including the e-Ducato, uses commercial tyres from 215/70 R15C to 225/75 R16C, depending on gross vehicle weight and engine.
• Doblo (2010-2022): The 2010 to 2022 Doblo uses 195/60 R16, with 185/65 R15 or, on some facelift versions, 195/65 R15 on 15-inch wheels.
• Doblo (2022-): The current Doblo, including the E-Doblo, uses 195/65 R15, 205/60 R16, 215/65 R16 or 205/55 R17.
• Fiorino / Qubo: The 2008 to 2024 Fiorino and Qubo use 185/65 R15 on all versions, with 175/70 R14 on some earlier vans and 195/55 R16 on some versions.
• Talento: The 2016 to 2021 Talento uses 205/65 R16, 215/65 R16C or 215/60 R17C, and the load rating varies by version.
• Scudo: The Scudo and E-Scudo from 2022 use 215/65 R16 or 215/60 R17C.

Run-flats, repair kits and snow tyres on Fiats

Most Fiats use standard tyres, but a few versions differ. The 500X on 19-inch wheels can be supplied on 225/40 R19 XL run-flat tyres. Fiat says a run-flat can be driven for about 50 miles (80 km) at up to 50 mph after a puncture. Replace run-flats with run-flats.

Many Fiats, depending on version, have a Fix&Go repair kit in the boot instead of a spare wheel. Fiat says it is a temporary repair only: keep to 50 mph or below and have the tyre checked as soon as possible. The kit only works on tread damage up to 6 mm across, and not when the tyre or rim is badly damaged.

Some Panda 4x4 versions leave the factory on M+S tyres with the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) mark, such as 175/65 R15 84T on the 0.9 TwinAir 4x4. Fiat notes that the 3PMSF mark means the tyre passed the ECE R117 snow test, so replace like for like if you want to keep that grip in snow.

Ducato, Doblo and other Fiat vans: check the load index

On the Ducato, the tyre size depends on the gross vehicle weight as well as the engine. The handbook splits 15 and 16-inch Light versions (3.0 to 3.65 tonnes) from Maxi versions (3.5 to 4.4 tonnes). Maxi versions use 225/75 R16C at the higher 118/116 load index, and motorhome versions use CP-marked camping tyres in the same sizes.

On the 2010 to 2022 Doblo, Michelin shows the 15-inch sizes with reinforced load indices on the van, such as 195/65 R15 95T. The Talento and the 2022-on Scudo also use commercial (C-type) tyres on some sizes. The load index and speed rating are the numbers and letters after the size. Give us the full size from the door-frame label or tyre placard when you book, and we will match it at our Park Royal garage.

Tyre pressure warning systems on newer Fiats

The 2022-on Doblo uses an indirect tyre deflation detection system. It does not measure pressure directly. Instead it compares each wheel's rolling circumference, using wheel-speed data, with stored reference values. Fiat says it must be initialised after a pressure adjustment or wheel change, with all four tyres at the correct pressure.

The Fiat 600 handbook says its Tyre Underinflation Detection System may need reprogramming if you fit tyres of a different size from the factory fit. Keeping to the original size avoids this.

Wheel alignment and rotating tyres on a Fiat

Fiat's alignment settings leave little margin. For the 500, including the electric 500 from 2020, the handbook gives a front toe-in of 0.5 ± 1 mm measured between the rims. The Ducato's figure is -1 ± 1 mm, a very slight toe-out. If one edge of a tyre is wearing faster than the rest, or the steering pulls or sits off-centre, have the alignment checked when you fit new tyres so the new ones don't wear the same way. We use Hunter equipment for four-wheel alignment, from £50.

If your tyres are directional (unidirectional), Fiat says they must not be swapped from one side of the car to the other. They can only be moved between front and rear on the same side, keeping the same direction of rotation.
