Can I fit 185/55 R15 instead of 205/50 R15?
Only if 185/55 R15 is listed for your car. On paper it is 584.5 mm tall against 586 mm for 205/50 R15, a 0.3% difference, so the speedometer would barely change. Wheel width, arch clearance, load index and speed rating must suit the car too, so check the handbook or the door placard, and fit one size across an axle.
